2012 Trip to Arizona
Well, Janice and I thought it was time to leave the rain and cold and take a trip to Arizona.  We had some resort credits to burn so we decided go to the Tucson area for a visit.  On the way, we stopped in Phoenix and stayed with my sister and brother-in-law for a few days and then on to Tucson.   This time we took the Avalon instead of the motor home.  We also dropped off Mitzi at Jan's father's house as Worldmark doesn't allow pets.  As usual, we had a punch list of things we wanted to see:
   -  The Pawn Stars Store
   -  Biosphere 2
   -  Pima Air and Space Museum
   -  London Bridge
   -  Bisbee, AZ - site of many of the J. A. Jance Stories we like

We decided to go south through the Siskiyos to minimize the snow...but ran into snow in Susanville, NV but it petered out after we passed through Reno.  We stopped in Las Vegas for a couple of days...we were interested in visiting the Pawn Stars pawn shop.  We then kept looking at the weather with Jan's handy Ipad and so decided to head south to Yuma where we visited the London Bridge and the Yuma Territorial Prison.  Then it was off to Phoenix for a visit with my sister and brother-in-law.  While there, we had the opportunity to go and see the Mariners lose one of the few games of Spring Training and a house in my sister's neighborhood burn up..

On the road again, we headed to Tucson and our resort.  The weather was great and we visited Biosphere 2, the Pima Airmuseum, and Bisbee.  After four days, we headed home back through Yuma.  Had a brief stop at Point Loma Nazarene University to take pictures for the girls; then just straight up I-5.
