April Trip 2010 - April 16
We headed out down the road early and went through some HIGH passes.  The biggest one was 5200 ft.  No snow (except some patches on the side of the road).
One of my big goals was to visit Thunder Mountain.  It was built by Frank Van Zant who decided folk art was the best way to remember the Indians.  It was facinating.  I'll put a gallery in for those who want to see more pictures.
We made it to the Rye Patch State Park, but Janice didn't like it much.  So, we drove another 80 miles or so to Fallon NV where we spent the night.  It was a much nicer park.
He used a lot of "junk" to build this and it is hard to discern what he was up to.
