April Trip 2010 - April 14-15
The plan was to travel to Tualatin to pick up my father-in-law's motor home.  We left on April 13th in the evening after packing the pickup truck to the point it looked like it was carrying a bunch of Okie's.
As you can see, we didn't leave much behind.  However, it gave me a chance to take some pictures of Bob's landscaping which is starting to bloom with the spring flowers.
We had not packed all of the food we needed so we stopped at a little cross-roads near Fossil, Or called Service Creek Stage and had a great lunch/dinner at a little restaurant there.  There was an old barn near by so I
had to take a picture of it.
We had driven this way before and there are some outstanding rock formations.  Below is one called "Castle Rock". The sun was not in the best position, but it was breath-taking.
We ended up "on-plan" and camped at Clyde Holliday, which is an Oregon State Park just outside of Joseph Day Oregon.  It is a great campground with electricity and water hookups.  Had a chance to settle in and re-arrange the motorhome again.   Great news - the automatic leveling system worked for the first time for us!
